Finger Lakes ReUse is collaborating with Get Your Greenback Tompkins and Significant Elements, a program of Historic Ithaca, to offer two repair skills workshops in May. These workshops are free and open to the public, and will be held at the Ithaca ReUse Center at 214 Elmira Rd, Ithaca NY. Donations to the ReUse Community Fund at the event are encouraged but not expected. Both workshops run from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

On May 17th, there will be a Lamps and Lighting Repair Workshop from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. On May 24th, there will be a Small Appliances Repair Workshop from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Bring an item of your own that needs fixing or come to learn repair skills by practicing on an item we have!

Sign up for one events or both by registering online (encouraged so we can anticipate how many materials to provide, but not required):

Please send any questions or additional comments you may have to Robin Elliott at robin@fingerlakesreuse.org.

In the meantime, please come check out the Ithaca Fixers Collective, a volunteer group of fixing experts who can share their repair knowledge with you, every Saturday between 3 pm and 5 pm at the Ithaca ReUse Center.
