Here at Finger Lakes ReUse, we like to think its Earth Day Every Day. By choosing to purchase used items before new ones, donating your unwanted materials, and extending the life of items through repair, you can make an environmental impact any day. Since 2008, thanks to your support, we have reused millions of pounds of materials related to construction, computers, electronics, household goods, sporting equipment, textiles, and so far!
Starting on April 22nd, we are launching the Earth Day Every Day Selfie Contest!
- Follow @ithacareuse on Instagram and/or Twitter
- From April 22nd to May 22nd, post a photo of yourself on Instagram and/or Twitter in front of one of our Earth murals at our Ithaca ReUse Center (214 Elmira Street, Ithaca, NY 14850) with a note letting us know how you celebrate Earth Day Every Day.
- Don’t forget to include the hashtag #thinkReUsefirst
The contest ends on Monday, May 22nd. A winner will be randomly selected to win one (1) $50 gift certificate and one (1) “ReUse is Gorges” t-shirt.
