Finger Lakes ReUse is happy to announce that we are once again accepting material donations. Starting on Saturday, August 29th, donors can now bring their items to three locations: Ithaca ReUse Center (214 Elmira Road), Triphammer ReUse Center (2255 N. Triphammer Road in Triphammer Marketplace) and a new donation drop off location at 700 W. Buffalo Street.

In order to ensure our safety and yours, we have made some adjustments to our convenient drop-off locations. Please keep these short guidelines in mind before making your next trip:

  • Donors and ReUse workers must wear a face covering over both nose and mouth
  • As always, donated items must be complete, clean, and in good usable condition. ReUse reserves the right to turn away any donation that has the potential to pose a health risk to its volunteers, customers, or staff.
  • We are asking that donations be placed by broad category on designated tables in boxes and bags and placed and arranged into gaylords and pallets by staff. For efficiency please separate your items by category.
  • ReUse staff and volunteers are not be able to help you unload items from your vehicles, including furniture, appliances and building materials. Please be prepared to unload your vehicle yourself or bring assistance with you. If your item is too heavy, we are still offering contactless pickups for a fee.

Want to get involved? Volunteers wanted! Please sign up to help out today!

Your donated goods are important to ReUse. Not only do they give your items a chance at a second life and keep them out of the landfill, they also directly support community programs and provide job training opportunities. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and look forward to seeing you soon!
