Finger Lakes ReUse is happy to announce that we have reopened our Donation Acceptance Areas at both the Ithaca ReUse Center and the ReUse MegaCenter starting today, Tuesday, July 6th, 2021.

We really appreciate the support and understanding we have received as we have temporarily paused accepting donated materials, giving us time to process many of your generously donated items back into the community. We worked hard to process your donated items while creating updated donation spaces that are convenient for our donors and safe for our workers. Please read below as ReUse has made some changes to our donation acceptance process. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Donations Drop Off will be closed on Thursdays weekly this summer at both locations to help staff focus on processing material donations to get them back into the community. We are accepting donations from Sun-Weds and Fri-Sat from 10 am – 6 pm.

NEW & IMPROVED DONATIONS DROP OFF AT THE ITHACA REUSE CENTER:

Donations Drop Off has moved to the east side of Ithaca ReUse Center at a new door located right next to our earth mural.  Please follow the signage and arrows to the new acceptance area.

BEFORE YOU COME TO DONATE:

Please review our updated Donation Guidelines before donating items to our Donation Drop Off to get more clarity on items we do and do not accept. Donated items should be clean and in good condition. Items donated to us that are dirty, broken, moldy, inoperable or in need of repair are likely to be discarded. Please help us by presorting like items with like (household items, clothes, electronics, building materials, etc.), and assessing items as being in clean and good condition before donating them. If you have any questions about our donations acceptance policies please contact us at  (607) 257-9699 or email us through our contact form.
