Finger Lakes ReUse Temporarily Pausing Donations Acceptance for Next 2 Weeks
WHEN: Sunday, July 9, 2023 – Saturday, July 23, 2023
WHERE: Ithaca ReUse Center – 214 Elmira Road and ReUse MegaCenter – 2255 N. Triphammer Road
ITHACA, NY… Starting Sunday, July 9th, Finger Lakes ReUse is temporarily closing material donations acceptance areas for 2 weeks only at the Ithaca ReUse Center (214 Elmira Road) and ReUse MegaCenter (2255 N. Triphammer Road) through July 22nd. Donation drop off areas will reopen Sunday, July 23. Both locations will remain open for shopping daily throughout this period.
“Thanks to the tremendous generosity of the community, we have received record volumes of donations this year and now we have to focus on processing these great items we have recently received before we can take on more,” said Diane Cohen, Chief Executive Officer of Finger Lakes ReUse. “We will be focusing this two week period to put out even more great local items every day for sale.” As always, both ReUse Centers use a color-coded price tag system so watch for daily deals of 25%, 50% and even 75% off merchandise.
Looking for ways to get out of the heat and give back this summer? There are volunteer opportunities at both ReUse Centers daily. Check out our volunteer options here today.
ReUse will continue to provide pick-up services to businesses as capacity allows. You can put in a pick-up request for consideration at ithacareuse.org/pickup/.
