On Wednesday May 4, Finger Lakes ReUse will be participating in a one-day-only community-wide online fundraising event called Giving is Gorges. One hundred local non-profit organizations will be coming together to unite community members around the causes they care deeply about.
We are launching the ReUse Community Fund. This fund will provide support to help us grant items to people in crisis so that they can access the essential goods and services we offer. Community members facing difficult situations, including extreme poverty, illness, damage from fire and storms, and other emergencies, will be able to access ReUse Community Fund grants through a simple referral from our partner human service agencies.
We’ve set a goal of $2,500 which we will match so your dollars will go twice as far — these funds will help us grant vouchers to our neighbors who are in crisis.
