Ramello is a ReSET apprentice since August 2023 and has worked at both locations.

What drew you to the ReSET Program & how long have you been working/training at ReUse?
Learning different work skills because I knew there were probably 5 different departments here. Suzanne, my supervisor and other ReUse coworkers have helped me with my communication skills and I really enjoy working here every shift I’m scheduled. I’ve been training here since August 2023.

What is your favorite part of working as an apprentice at ReUse?
The customers, and learning more things back in building materials that I didn’t know before.

What have you learned about the community or the concept of reuse and its environmental impacts since working/training as an apprentice here?
I’ve learned that reusing is good for the environment and the community. It gives people an opportunity to donate their old goods which will potentially become people’s new goods for an affordable price.

What do you feel you bring to the ReUse team?
Leadership and a strong work ethic. I now like to look out for new apprentices that come into the program.

Fun fact: I have 3 children – 5, 1 and 6 months – and I spend most of my free time outside of work taking care of them. I also enjoy working out.
