Cue the music - We’re happy to announce that we are opening Donations Acceptance at the new Cayuga ReUse Center (2309 starting Friday, October 2nd, from 10 am - 4 pm.

We really appreciate the support and understanding we have received as we temporarily paused accepting donated materials, giving us time to process many of your generously donated items. We worked hard to process your donated items while creating an updated donation space that is convenient for our donors and safe for our workers. Please read below, as ReUse has made some changes to our donation acceptance process. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Donation drop-off at Cayuga ReUse Center is on the right side of the Cayuga Shopping Center. To keep traffic moving smoothly, please turn right toward Taco Bell and follow the road outside the parking lot around to the side of the building.

Donations Hours

We accept donations at both locations Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, 10 am - 4 pm.

We do not accept donations Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday at either location to help us manage material volume. Over the last 10 years, we’ve seen a steady average increase of 40% in donation drop-offs each year, and we’re doing our best to grow with this demand and keep as many materials in local use as possible!

Before You Come to Donate

Please review our Donation Guidelines before donating items to get more clarity on items we do and do not accept. Donated items should be clean and in good, reusable condition. We will likely discard items that are dirty, broken, moldy, inoperable, or in need of repair. Please help us by pre-sorting like items with like (household items, clothes, electronics, building materials, etc.), and assessing items before donating them. If you have any questions about our donation acceptance policies, please contact us at  (607) 257-9699 or email us through our website.
